Buying cocktail ice in New York City involves more than choosing a shape. A restaurant, hotel or event space needs the right pieces, sufficient freezer capacity and a clear plan for getting the delivery from the entrance into storage.
Start with the menu
List the drinks that use a large serving piece and check their glasses. WK’s standard formats include 2-inch cubes, 2.5-inch-tall blocks with a 2-inch-square footprint, 2.4-inch spheres and 5 × 1.25 × 1.25-inch highball spears. These cuts come in 25-piece packs. Give the supplier a receiving brief
Share the full address and ZIP code, venue name, receiving entrance, contact number and any service-elevator or loading instructions. Tell the supplier if reception and the bar are in different parts of the building. Someone should be available to move the order into the freezer promptly.
Plan around the route
WK’s standard local deliveries are Saturdays. Standard orders close Thursday at 5 p.m. Eastern for the upcoming Saturday. Saturday local delivery to eligible NJ & NYC addresses is free on orders of $100 or more. Orders below $100 have a $29.95 delivery charge. Thresholds apply after discounts, before tax and delivery. Outside our NJ & NYC delivery area? Contact us to confirm shipping availability, timing and pricing before ordering. Your address and receiving arrangements must be eligible.
Use expected demand and available freezer space to plan between deliveries. Confirm wholesale pricing for your account and ask about repeat supply.
Test the complete drink
Compare samples in the exact glasses you use. Include the recipe, garnish and service routine. A cube fitting through the rim is not the same as fitting comfortably lower down in a tapered tumbler. The glass-fit tool is a starting check, followed by a real sample.
For a wedding or branded reception
Custom engraving has a separate production lead time. We recommend starting at least 2–3 weeks ahead where possible, with timing confirmed for your date and artwork. Standard delivery cutoffs do not guarantee custom production. Read the wedding guide or corporate-event checklist.
